Cultural & Work Exchange Programs
InterExchange is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural awareness through a wide range of work and travel, language, volunteer, professional training, internship, and au pair programs within the United States and around the world. In the U.S., we offer J-1 Visa programs and an H-2B Visa program.
Our goal is to create affordable and exciting cultural exchange programs, each with an unparalleled level of support. We take great pride in the professionalism and service of our staff, and work hard to ensure our programs provide a rewarding and enriching experience for everyone.
Our Programs
Au Pair USA
Au Pair USA offers U.S. families the chance to combine cross-cultural exchange with affordable, live-in childcare, provided by young adults from around the world. Au pairs can stay in the United States for up to 2 years under the U.S. government-regulated J-1 Visa program.

Working AbroadWorking Abroad offers U.S. students and young adults the chance to participate in work and travel, volunteer, education, language school, teaching English, au pair/childcare, and internship programs around the world. Selected programs are also open to citizens of Australia, Canada, and the European Union. |
Camp USACamp USA brings pre-screened international camp staff to the United States to work in counselor and support staff positions at U.S. summer camps under the U.S. government-regulated J-1 Visa program.

Career Training USA
Career Training USA offers international residents practical training and internship programs with U.S. businesses for up to 18 months. Options are available for those who have already chosen a host company in the U.S. and for those who wish to be placed with a company from our employer network. Practical training positions for those with a chosen career path can last for up to 18 months. Student internship positions can last up to 4 months. Participants arrive under the U.S. government-regulated J-1 Visa program.
Program Features:
- Practical training placements for 6, 12, or 18 months
- Student internship placements for 4 months
- Cost-free to employers
Work & Travel USA
Work & Travel USA matches U.S. businesses with international students seeking short-term, entry-level, seasonal work throughout the United States. Participants arrive under the U.S. government-regulated J-1 Visa program, and are available to work for up to 4 months.
Program Features:
- J-1 Visas up to 4 months
- Cost-free service for employers
- Arrival orientations for participants
- Summer and winter options
H-2B Visa USA
H-2B Visa USA helps U.S. employers find long-term, international workers to supplement local employees in areas where there are not enough local workers to fill available positions. International employees arrive under the U.S. government-regulated H-2B Visa program, and can work for up to 20 months.
Program Features:
- H-2B Visas up to 10 months, renewable for 10 additional months
- Cost-free for employers with over 25 hires
- Department of Labor certification
- Visa petition with USCIS
