How it works
You’ll enjoy dedicated support from the moment you sign up.
Process
The process is straightforward. Sign up with our program. We’ll contact you to set up a short interview with us, then a host employer. Once you get hired, we’ll help with planning and support for your journey to the job location. During your summer, we’ll communicate at regular intervals and be here for support so you can get the most out of your program!
Step 1: Sign up (Deadline: May 31, 2025)
Easy online application!
Step 2: Interview with InterExchange program advisor (Within 1 week after sign-up)
Tell us your preferences for your location and role, and what you are hoping to get out of the summer!
Step 3: Job interview with host employer (1-2 weeks)
We’ll arrange your interview, usually within a week or two of signing up. If you’re hired, we’ll facilitate the process and paperwork with the local employer, then send you your employment paperwork and employee handbook.
Step 4: Arrival
Get acclimated and situated a few days before your job begins. Start dates can occur as early as May 15, or as late as mid-June.

You can expect to spend between $1,500 and $2,500 throughout your American Summer Exchange Program.
