The InterExchange Work & Travel USA Program is one of the best ways for Chilean university students to experience living, working, and traveling in the United States.
Requirements
To be eligible for direct sponsorship by InterExchange for the Work Travel Program, you must be:
Between the ages of 18 and 28 when you begin the program
A full-time university student actively pursuing a degree or other full-time course of study at an accredited institution
Proficient in spoken and written English
You must have completed a Work & Travel program in a previous winter season
Submit your own approvable job offer to return to a previous host employer
How it works
We know that the J-1 Visa process can be overwhelming and frustrating. As a designated J-1 Visa sponsor, InterExchange helps students through the process, making it possible for students to achieve their American dream.
Sign up
Sign up and complete an online application as soon as possible. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
Match
InterExchange will match your application with your host employer. Submit your own approvable Employment Offer to return to a previous host employer!
Travel
We will provide 24-hour support throughout your program in the U.S.
Costs
$1300 USD, which includes InterExchange program fees, SEVIS, insurance for the duration of your program, and issuance of a DS-2019 form for your visa sponsorship.
