Improve your Spanish quickly, affordably, and memorably with an experienced team.
Choose from group or private lessons with certified, native-Spanish speaking teachers at beautiful Máximo Nivel school facilities. You can study from 1-6 hours per day. At least once per week, the program has an activity (salsa dancing, cooking class, etc.) to bring participants together!

What level of Spanish do I need to participate?
None! Or, you could improve your skills. The local language schools have options for a focus on conversational language or learning areas of your choice. As part of the program, you’ll complete a brief, informal placement exam and have a program orientation upon arrival.
When can I take classes?
You’ll have access to the school 7 days a week, but many people opt to learn Monday-Friday. At the schools you’ll have comfortable areas to study, community of students, friendly staff, and social activities.
Where will I be staying?
Choose from host families, hotels, or hostels.
What type of transport will I be using?
For each location, a program representative will meet you at the airport and accompany you to your host family home or lodging.
What can I do when I am not in classes?
La Antigua is a charming town with chocolate making courses, nearby coffee farms, inexpensive restaurants and cafes, crafts, and more. Within a few hours are excursions including the popular Lake Atitlan, great for a weekend getaway. Many participants also add a few days after programs to travel. With other students and volunteers around and weekly activities either planned or suggested by the program, it’s not difficult to meet new people or find something to do!

Costs and program fees vary based on the number of hours and classes you take, and by location. Your advisor will help tailor your experience to your budget, travel length, and your program goals!

Housing
There are many options to choose for housing. You can choose a homestay with a host family, dorm-style student residence, a hostel, or hotel. In the dorm or hostel, there may be an additional cost for a private room.
Meals
During your program, breakfast and lunch are included in the price. Students are responsible to arrange and pay for dinners. Depending on location and accommodation type, you can choose to eat at a local restaurant, eat in with the host family, or cook your own meals.
Transportation
The local team will pick you up from the airport upon your arrival to the location. All housing is located conveniently to the classroom sites!
